Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Knowledge of IT troubleshooting and technical support processes.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, networking, helpdesk systems, or user account management is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT security best practices is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365-related issues.
- Assist with the setup, installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support user account administration, including account creation, access management, and password resets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Monitor and assist with software updates, system patches, antivirus management, and data backup activities.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, support documentation, and service records.
- Track and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction.
- Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity and peripheral device issues.
- Participate in IT infrastructure, system enhancement, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
