Job Summary
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity within Group Marine & HSSEQ department for candidates eager to gain practical experience in the maritime industry. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of Marine HSSEQ, Training & Environmental compliance management within a dynamic shipping environment.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, participate in real-world projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HSSEQ practices including:
Preparing HSSE & Compliance related Bulletins and Newsletter under supervision.
Monitor, track & trend the effectiveness of campaigns and projects rolled out to crew and vessels.
Prepare Placards / training materials under guidance for culture & awareness enhancements of ship & shore employees.
Support in planning of Crisis Management & incident management
Support in planning and strategy for continual improvement in HSSEQ delivery.
Monitor, track and update Marine & HSSEQ KPIs scorecard.
Engagement and Training to Support safe operations of vessels.
Support in trend and analysis for all HSSE data
Upkeep of Incident and Injury database
Key Requirements
Aptitude and interest in understanding maritime safety management systems that ensures port, terminal and vessel/shore compatibility.
Strong project management skills and confidence to manage improvement initiatives
Confidence in managing and communicating and building relationships with industry bodies.
Proficiency with data analytics and presentation tools and applications an advantage: PowerBI, MS Excel, Powerpoint
