Tranglo is looking for Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

Key Responsibilities

Test Case Preparation & Maintenance

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Ensure test cases are clear, traceable, and aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Execution Support

• Execute manual test cases during different testing phases (e.g. system testing, regression testing).

• Identify, document, and re-test defects to ensure fixes are properly validated.

Defect Reporting & Tracking

• Log defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence (screenshots, logs).

• Update defect status and follow up with QA team members where necessary.

Test Reporting & Documentation

• Assist in preparing test execution reports, defect summaries, and testing status updates.

• Help maintain QA-related documentation in the team’s test management or documentation tools.

QA Team Support Activities

• Support senior QA members in test preparation activities and ad-hoc testing tasks.

• Participate in team meetings to understand testing progress and quality goal

What you will Learn:

1. End-to-End Software Testing Process

o Gain hands-on exposure to the QA role within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to test closure.

2. Practical QA & Testing Skills

o Learn how to design effective test cases, execute tests, report defects, and prepare QA reports used in real-world projects.

3. Industry & Team Collaboration Experience

o Understand how QA collaborates with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in a professional software development environment.

Requirements/Qualification:

Internship period minimum 4 months

Understanding of software testing fundamentals (e.g. what testing is, types of testing such as functional, regression, smoke testing).

Awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and where QA fits within it.

Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and defect life cycle

Softskills expectation:

• Strong attention to detail to identify defects, inconsistencies, and unexpected behavior.

• Ability to analyze requirements or user stories and think from an end-user perspective.

• Logical and structured thinking when executing test cases and reporting issues.

• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect descriptions, test reports and updates.

• Comfortable communicating findings and clarifying issues with QA team members.

Location: Bangsar South, KL (accessible by LRT Kerinchi)

Please inform internship start and end date (no weekends or KL public holiday)
