We bring people together through the joy of cooking, and we’re looking for engaging and professional Chef Instructors to lead food demonstrations and culinary experiences for our clients.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and confident Chef Instructor to lead live food demonstrations at our corporate events. This role is ideal for individuals who are not only skilled in cooking but are also natural communicators who enjoy sharing culinary knowledge in an engaging and interactive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good conversational skills
• Basic - Advance knowledge on intentional cuisine, baking and pastries techniques
• Conduct live cooking demonstrations in front of small to medium-sized groups (10–40 pax)
• Explain recipes, ingredients, techniques, and tips in an engaging and informative way
• Answer questions from participants and guide them through the cooking process
• Ensure all prep work and mise en place is done ahead of each session
• Work closely with the kitchen assistants and event team to ensure smooth event execution
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the demonstration
• Represent the D’Open Kitchen brand with professionalism and enthusiasm

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 1 Year(s) of Working Experience as a Demo Chef Experience Or Proven Work Experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Required Skill(s): presentation, communication skills, training, food knowledge, public speaking

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
