Job Summary:
Facility intern will assist the Facility team in managing and maintaining company premises, equipment, and utilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. This internship provides hands-on exposure to facility operations, vendor coordination, preventive maintenance, and workplace safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily facility inspections and report findings.
- Support the coordination of preventive maintenance activities for office equipment, HVAC, lighting, plumbing etc.
- Help manage facility-related requests from employees.
- Assist in documentation and updating of facility-related records and maintenance logs.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and EHS standards.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors during on-site works and inspections.
- Support relocation or renovation activities.
- Ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of facility operations, building systems, or workplace safety is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, working independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Candidate must have own transport and willing to working at Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related fields.
