The Technician Intern will assist the engineering and technical team in daily operations, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, preventive maintenance, and production support while developing practical technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers in equipment setup, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the maintenance schedule.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and machinery under supervision.
• Perform routine inspections of machines, tools, and production equipment.
• Record maintenance activities and update maintenance logs.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment when required.
• Assist in identifying equipment abnormalities and report findings to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety regulations, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen/5S) activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Authority

• Carry out assigned tasks under the guidance of technicians or engineers.
• Report equipment abnormalities and safety concerns immediately.
• Recommend improvement ideas related to maintenance or operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Or any related technical field.
• Internship duration of at least 3–6 months.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance concepts.
• Able to read simple technical drawings and work instructions.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
