Job Description

As a Corporate Affairs Intern, you will collaborate with the Global Corporate Affairs team in Singapore to deliver strategic communications and media relations support across the Group's business units. Your responsibilities include assisting with the organisation and execution of external engagement initiatives designed to strengthen and protect the Group’s brand and reputation through effective media and stakeholder outreach. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a global corporate setting, providing opportunities to work alongside business leaders from diverse markets.

A successful candidate should be a creative storyteller with strong writing and interpersonal skills. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills to effectively gather and synthetize information from different business units. He/she should be proactive, curious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Canva and an interest in the transport, mobility and/or tech industry is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily media monitoring: Use existing media monitoring tools to provide daily news reports to track company, competitor and industry news. Work with different internal stakeholders to manage media monitoring tools to ensure that key words are up-to-date and relevant news are captured
  • Content creation: Assist in drafting engaging content for internal and external channels
  • Stakeholder engagement: Provide support for media briefings, interviews and other external events. This includes drafting briefing notes and fact sheets, as well as providing hands-on logistics support
  • Local media engagement: Drafting response to local media queries
  • Asset Management: Help maintain and update existing internal collaterals, including corporate fact sheets, message house and other digital assets
  • Programme / event execution: Assist in operations (comms, event management) for programmes like Passion Award and community investment activities

Key Deliverables

  • Daily media monitoring
  • Drafting content, including media announcements, digital content, internal posts, stakeholder engagement briefing notes
  • Proofreading of content, including the annual report
  • Producing simple visual brand assets
  • Support in managing events, e.g. Passion Awards and community investment activities
