Unlike traditional sales roles, this internship blends business development with management consulting. You will be tasked with identifying prospective clients, understanding their unique operational or strategic challenges, and helping our team frame tailored, high-impact solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring business consultants to gain hands-on experience in client diagnosis, strategic pitching, and regional market expansion.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Consultative Client Research & Needs Analysis
- Research prospective clients within Melaka and surrounding regions to understand their business models, industry challenges, and market positioning.
- Assist in diagnosing client "pain points" (e.g., operational inefficiencies, market share loss) prior to initial outreach.
- Compile comprehensive pre-meeting briefs that equip the senior consulting team with actionable insights.
2. Strategic Pitching & Proposal Design
- Collaborate with lead consultants to design compelling pitch decks, case studies, and business proposals.
- Help translate complex consulting frameworks and strategic solutions into clear, client-facing language and visual presentations.
- Ensure all proposals are highly customized to the specific needs and goals of the target business.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Shadow senior consultants during discovery calls, advisory meetings, and client workshops.
- Take structured, meticulous notes during client engagements and map out the next steps or recommended strategic interventions.
- Manage the post-meeting follow-up process to keep client relationships warm and projects moving forward.
4. Market Intelligence & Service Expansion
- Monitor local economic shifts, state government initiatives in Melaka, and industry trends to identify new consulting service opportunities for Acre 53-1.
- Maintain an organized CRM database detailing lead status, client interactions, and project pipelines.
