Our backend team owns the server-side of our core products, from the APIs and services that power our applications to infrastructure that keeps them running reliably. Our team has visibility across the entire system, and members naturally gravitate towards what they enjoy most, that is building features, ensuring systems stay up and scale well, or a bit of both. We are looking for interns who are excited to be part of that environment and grow alongside the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Software Development
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs for new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code focused on reliability and performance.
• DevOps & Infrastructure
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and work with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor and maintain service health including latency, load, uptime, and backups, contributing to the overall resilience of our systems.

Job Requirements:

• Open to undergraduate students or fresh graduates in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Available for an internship duration of 3 to 6 months.
• Able to discuss and explain previous academic or personal projects confidently during the interview would be a plus.
• Candidates who demonstrate strong technical knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
• Candidates with prior experience in the following areas will have an added advantage over other candidates:
• Proficiency or interest in Java or Go.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and authentication concepts such as OAuth2.
• Understanding of database fundamentals including ACID properties, transaction isolation levels, and indexing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure management.
• Interest in algorithms and system design, and the ability to reason about trade-offs.
• Experience Spring or Spring Boot, Kafka, ClickHouse, or any data engineering framework.
• Linux Users.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
