About the Role

We're looking for a Weekend Part-Timer to join our retail team on Saturdays and Sundays. You'll be the face of Loka Made during our busiest days — the first "hello" and the last "thank you" our customers hear. You'll guide customers through our products, help them find something worth treasuring, and keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes. Great for students, or anyone looking for flexible weekend work with a fun, creative brand.

What You'll Do

• Greet every customer warmly as they enter and leave, creating a welcoming atmosphere in-store
• Guide customers' buying decisions by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and making thoughtful recommendations
• Actively promote and sell our products to help the store meet its sales targets
• Scan barcodes and pack purchases quickly and accurately for a smooth checkout experience
• Keep checkout counters, registers, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and clutter-free
• Handle the cash register — count the opening float, process transactions, and balance the till at the end of each shift
• Enter daily cash receipts into the bank on the same business day and log the exact amounts in the daily cash record
• Track all financial transactions on balance sheets and immediately flag any discrepancies to management
• Collect and document customer feedback on our products and service to help us improve
• Restock shelves, style merchandise displays, and rotate inventory to keep products fresh and available
• Join weekly meetings with your supervisor to review sales performance and align on goals

What We're Looking For

• A warm, people-first attitude — you genuinely enjoy talking to and helping customers
• Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and basic numbers with accuracy
• Detail-oriented and organized, even when the store gets busy
• Available to work both Saturdays and Sundays
• A team player who communicates openly and takes ownership of your shift
• An interest in Malaysian culture and storytelling is a big plus — you'll be telling our story every day
• Prior retail experience is helpful but not required — training is provided
