Key Responsibilities
1. Purchaser Defect Management
- Receive and record purchaser defect complaints.
- Maintain and update defect tracking records and databases.
- Follow up with purchasers regarding defect status and recitification progress.
- Assist in scheduling site inspections and defect verification visits
- 2. Subcontractor Coordination
- Liaise with subcontractors to arrange defect rectification works.
- Prepare and issue work instructions and defect lists to subcontractors.
- Monitor rectification progress and ensure completion within stipulated timelines.
- Coordinate appointments between purchasers and subcontractors.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Collect and compile subcontractor reports, photographs, and completion records.
- Prepare weekly defect status reports and progress updates.
- Organize and maintain project files, correspondence, and rectification records.
- Assist in preparing management reports on defect trends and completion rates.
4. Site Support
- Attend site inspections with project team members when required.
- Verify completed rectification works and document findings.
- Assist in identifying recurring defects and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Possess own transportation (preferred).
Learning Opportunities
- Exposure to property development and defect liability management.
- Hands-on experience in customer service and contractor coordination.
- Understanding of construction defects, rectification processes, and quality control.
- Practical experience in product documentation and reporting.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
