Job Purpose
As an Industrial Relations (IR) Intern, you will support the Human Resources team in managing employee relations activities and HR operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to IR practices, HR documentation, employee engagement, and workplace compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing IR-related documents such as warning letters, memos, and meeting minutes.
- Support the tracking and documentation of employee disciplinary cases, grievances, and counselling sessions.
- Maintain proper filing and records of employee documents and IR-related matters.
- Conduct research on employment laws, HR policies, and Industrial Relations practices.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to HR and IR matters.
- Support employee engagement activities and HR projects.
- Provide daily administrative support to the HR/IR team.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the HR/IR team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Interested in Human Resources, especially Industrial Relations and employee relations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Willing to learn and gain practical HR experience.
