Role Description The Financial Analyst is a part-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of onsite work and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves reviewing and interpreting financial statements, preparing regular financial reports, and supporting financial planning and budgeting activities. The analyst will perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key financial metrics, assisting with variance analyses, and providing clear, data-driven insights to internal stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will also help maintain accurate financial records, contribute to process improvements, and ensure that reporting aligns with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with practical experience in Financial Planning and budgeting.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to prepare, review, and explain Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in a clear and concise manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial analysis tools; experience with BI or dashboard tools is an advantage.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience or strong interest in the life science or education/career services sector is beneficial.
