1. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

• Systems Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and repairs on HVAC units, chillers, water pumps, lighting, and power distribution systems. [1, 2, 3]
• General Repairs: Fixing doors, windows, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry or masonry. [1, 2, 3]
• Equipment Monitoring: Reading utility meters, recording daily equipment metrics, and ensuring control systems (like Building Management Systems) operate optimally. [1, 2, 3]

2. Safety and Compliance

• Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring the facility meets local safety codes, building regulations, and fire safety standards.
• Inspections: Conducting regular walk-throughs to spot and address potential hazards, leaks, or wear-and-tear proactively.
• Emergency Response: Being on-call to immediately troubleshoot or secure the building during sudden equipment failures or emergencies. [1, 2, 3, 4]

3. Vendor and Task Management

• Contractor Coordination: Assisting or supervising external vendors and technicians during specialized repairs, renovations, or servicing. [1]

• Inventory Tracking: Managing supplies, spare parts, and tools necessary for daily operations and routine upkeep
