• Assist in evaluating existing high speed/ high technology standard automation rotary die sorter handlers.
• Design and develop industrial machines, automation systems, and mechanical components
• Utilize 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical models and technical drawings
• Support the prototyping phase by revising designs based on testing results, providing updated drafts for improvements and adjustments
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions and design iterations for traceability and future reference
• Participate in the continuous improvement process by identifying areas for optimization in design or documentation practices
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Receive direct mentorship from experienced engineers to support technical and professional growth

Job Requirements

• Candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics or related fields
• Duration of internship for a minimum period of 3 months is preferable
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical modelling and drafting
• Familiarity with pneumatics, and motion control systems used in industrial machinery
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges
