Job Title: Software Engineer Intern 

Location: Finexus Campus, Titiwangsa 

About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join our technology team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-stack software development within a fintech environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop and maintain web applications, build and test APIs, and contribute to projects involving financial systems, payment processing, and secure data exchange. 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Full-Stack Application Development: 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using React for frontend development and Spring MVC (Java) for backend services, ensuring responsive, scalable, and high-quality solutions.  
  1. API Development & Integration 
  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between frontend interfaces and backend systems. 
  1. User Interface Development 
  • Utilize Git and Sourcetree for source code management, version control, and effective collaboration within the development team. 

4.Financial Systems & Secure Data Processing 

  • Assist with file processing and data exchange activities, including exposure to banking and payment file formats, encryption standards such as PGP, and secure data handling practices. 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Basic knowledge of frontend development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 
  • Familiarity with Java programming and backend development concepts, preferably with Spring MVC or similar frameworks. 
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture. 
  • Exposure to version control systems such as Git; experience with Sourcetree is an advantage. 
  • Interest in financial technology, payment systems, data processing, and information security. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to real-world software development projects.
