IT Internship:
"In this role, the IT Intern will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the IT department. The primary focus will be on delivering responsive technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Additionally, the intern will assist the IT team in proactive system maintenance tasks. This includes performing routine software updates, monitoring system performance, managing IT asset inventory, and assisting with data backup and security protocols. This position offers hands-on experience in maintaining a secure and efficient technological environment while developing practical problem-solving skills."

System Maintenance & Administration:

• Assist in performing routine system maintenance, including software updates, OS patching, and security checks.
• Monitor network performance and system health, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Assist with routine data backup procedures and endpoint security management.
• Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, tracking hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
• Document troubleshooting steps and assist in creating basic user guides for common IT issues.

Technical Support:

• Provide first-level (Tier 1) helpdesk support to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including setting up user accounts, emails, and configuring workstations.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM800.00 per month
