Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Group's regulatory compliance preparation as well as the annual Sustainability Report, which includes the collection, consolidation, and analysis of datasets
• Research on global best practices, policies, and regulations relevant to the business (i.e., for the cocoa industry and where GCB Cocoa has a business presence), and benchmarking analysis
• Ad-hoc support with sustainability projects, especially in using analytical tools for data visualisation and insights
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks in an off-site work setting

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Engineering, Environmental Science, or any related field
• Experience in quantitative analysis is preferred
• Comfortable working with numbers and data analytical and visualisation tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or any similar tools)
• Experienced in market research and benchmarking analysis skills with the ability to synthesise information from various sources, including public datasets, industry standards/best practices, and estimation
• Demonstrates a keen interest in sustainability (plus point if you know sustainability reporting frameworks and requirements)
• Ability to work independently and deliver results
• Preferably reside in Malaysia (Pasir Gudang, Johor)
