Job Description
Responsibilities
Do you enjoy working with young children and believe in the importance of technology education? Are you passionate about making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful?
At The Lab, we believe every child has the potential to become a confident problem solver and creative thinker. We are looking for enthusiastic educators to join our team in teaching programming and robotics to children aged 5–6 (Kinder) and 7–9 (Junior).
No prior programming experience? That's perfectly fine. Training will be provided.
We value your ability to connect with children more than your technical background. Our comprehensive training programme will equip you with the programming, robotics, and teaching skills needed to deliver our curriculum confidently.
Teach weekly programming and robotics classes to children aged 5–9.
Deliver lessons using The Lab's structured curriculum and teaching resources.
Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging classroom environment.
Guide students in developing computational thinking, creativity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Monitor each child's learning progress and provide feedback to parents when required.
Prepare classroom materials and ensure equipment is well maintained.
Work closely with fellow teachers to continually improve the learning experience.
Participate in training sessions, meetings, and school events when required.
Passionate about teaching and inspiring young children.
Enjoys interacting with children aged 5–9.
Patient, energetic, and able to engage young learners.
Responsible, organised, and punctual.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive team player with a willingness to learn.
Comfortable using technology and open to learning programming and robotics.
Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
At least 1–2 years of experience working with children (teaching experience is an advantage but not required).
Available to work on weekends (mandatory).
Able to communicate effectively in English.
Interest in STEM, coding, robotics, or technology education is a plus.
Training will be provided for all programming and robotics content.
Comprehensive training provided — no coding background required.
Structured curriculum and ready-to-use teaching materials.
Opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Supportive and collaborative teaching environment.
Be part of one of Singapore's leading coding and robotics education centres, making a real impact on children's future.
