About Achievers Dream Learning Centre

Achievers Dream Learning Centre is Singapore's first Chemistry Tuition Centre equipped with an NEA-approved Chemistry Practical Laboratory. We specialize in Upper Primary, Upper Secondary, IP, O-Level, and Junior College Chemistry, providing students with a strong academic foundation through effective teaching, practical application, and a supportive learning environment.

We are looking for a motivated and responsible intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to teaching, curriculum development, laboratory operations, and education management.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Support

• Assist teachers during lessons and practical sessions.
• Provide academic support to students through consultations and guided practice.
• Support lesson preparation, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Observe and learn effective teaching strategies and classroom delivery techniques.

Curriculum Development

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and improving worksheets, notes, assessments, and learning materials.
• Conduct research and contribute ideas to improve lesson content and student learning experiences.
• Support the creation of educational resources aligned with the Singapore curriculum.

Laboratory Operations

• Prepare laboratory apparatus, chemicals, and solutions for practical lessons.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling experiments.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and maintenance of equipment and materials.
• Support laboratory safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and taking initiative.

Preferred

• Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Interest in education, teaching, curriculum development, or science communication.

Working Hours

3 weekdays + 2 weekends

Weekdays: 1.00pm – 9.00pm

Weekends: 8.30am – 6.30pm

Internship Duration

Minimum commitment: 4 to 6 months (minimum: June to Sep 2026)
