BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur was established in 2005 to provide functional services in Finance, Controlling, Information Services, Human Resources, Environment, Health & Safety, Procurement, and Import-Export Order Management to BASF companies in the Asia-Pacific region. The center is part of BASF’s Global Business Services (GB) division, with two other sites in Berlin, Germany and in Montevideo, Uruguay.

GB’s Global Technology Unit (GTU) is looking for an Intern from an IT or technical background. The role works closely with GTU’s solutions delivery team to support various tasks within the scope of digital and IT projects.

Main Tasks

As an Intern in the Global Technology Unit team, your main tasks include:

• Support digital and IT solutions development activities
• Contribute to testing and quality assurance efforts
• Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, rectification and maintenance activities for IT solutions we develop
• Develop and maintain robust technical documentation

Requirements

• University Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Artifical Intelligence, Information Technology, Business Technology or related discipline
• Able to commit to a 3-6 month internship
• AI-native
• Good English communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
