Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of quantity take-off, measurement, and construction drawings.
- Able to read construction drawings and perform basic quantity measurements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading construction drawings is an added advantage.
- Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with clients, suppliers, and outsiders.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Willing to attend site visits when required.
- Able to commit to an internship period of 4–6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist in quantity take-off and measurement of construction works.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets.
- Assist in obtaining, evaluating, and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support the preparation of progress claims, variation orders (VO), and related documentation.
- Assist in monitoring project costs and progress.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity verification under supervision.
- Assist in preparing final accounts and payment records.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Attend meetings and site visits to gain practical project exposure.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
