Job Summary
We're looking for a hands-on and proactive Solar Installer Intern to join our technical team. Gain practical experience in the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems while working alongside experienced wiremen, technicians, and engineers. This internship offers valuable exposure to site operations, electrical systems, and industry best practices in a safe and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and wiring of solar PV systems, including mounting structures and panels, as per engineering drawings and layouts.
- Participate in routine checks, testing, and basic troubleshooting of solar equipment and inverters.
- Support technicians and wiremen in positioning and securing solar panels and configuring system connections.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and accurately under supervision.
- Contribute to on-site housekeeping and proper organization of tools, materials, and cables.
- Observe and assist in applying health and safety practices throughout the installation process.
- Learn the basics of using drone cameras for site progress documentation and reporting.
- Assist with stock movement, packing, and loading of materials when needed.
Requirement
- Currently pursuing a Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Solar Technology, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Physically fit, willing to work outdoors and at heights.
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools and safety practices (training will be provided).
- Responsible, eager to learn, and able to follow instructions closely.
- Ability to travel to project sites.
Pay: RM1,200.00 per month
