We are seeking a passionate and experienced Western Food Chef cum Operations Executive to manage kitchen preparation, food quality, and daily outlet operations. The candidate will be responsible for preparing western cuisine, ensuring smooth outlet operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering a high-quality dining experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen & Food Preparation
- Prepare and cook western cuisine according to company recipes and SOP
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Monitor food preparation timing and kitchen workflow efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Assist in menu planning, food costing, and development of new menu items
- Monitor stock usage and minimize food wastage
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and kitchen equipment
Operations Management
- Oversee daily outlet operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Supervise kitchen and service staff when required
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer feedback professionally
- Manage stock ordering, inventory monitoring, and supplier coordination
- Ensure outlet cleanliness and compliance with health & safety requirements
- Support cashiering, reporting, and operational coordination
- Assist management during promotions, events, and special campaigns
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in western food preparation and F&B operations
- Knowledge in western cuisine, food plating, and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Responsible, disciplined, and customer-service oriented
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
