Position: Accounting Intern

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Perform data entry and update accounting transactions in the accounting system.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
• Organize and file financial documents systematically.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support the finance team in preparing schedules, reports, and audit documents.
• Verify the accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the accounting department.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting Software will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum internship duration of 3 months preferred.

Pay: RM800.00 per month
