Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Script Includes, and integrations.
  • Configure and support core ServiceNow modules such as: IT Service Management (ITSM), Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, CMBD, Knowledge Management
  • Build and maintain Service Portal components and catalog items.
  • Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with external applications and third-party systems.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, governance standards, and security guidelines.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
  • Support platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, business users, and project teams


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-8 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience in ServiceNow platform customization and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Notifications, ACLs


Experience in REST and SOAP web services integrations.

Understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping concepts.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Additional certifications in ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, or SPM are advantageous.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and IT infrastructure concepts.
