Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s Corporate Communications department is seeking a creative and motivated intern to support the publicity and outreach efforts for its public talks, events, and campaigns across digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, video production, and social media marketing within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce engaging YouTube video content for branding and publicity of hospital events and campaigns, including reviewing, editing existing footage, and filming new content
• Optimise video performance by incorporating subtitles, thumbnails, timers, and SEO-friendly captions while maintaining a consistent visual and editorial style
• Develop standardised content templates and editing workflows to improve efficiency and ensure consistency across future productions
• Support the management, optimisation, and marketing of the hospital’s YouTube channel
• Design and create publicity materials for other digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Provide ad hoc support for communication initiatives and other publicity-related tasks as assigned

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Communications, Media, Marketing, Film, or a related field
• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing principles
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with YouTube optimisation (SEO, thumbnails, engagement strategies) is an advantage
• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team

• Practical experience in digital communications within a healthcare institution
• Exposure to end-to-end content production and social media campaign execution
