We are seeking a talented and passionate Classical Piano Teacher to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is not only skilled in playing classical piano but also enjoys teaching students of various ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire students through personalized lessons, covering techniques and modern repertoire, and be able to teach up to at least Grade 8 Rock School exam level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one contemporary piano lessons to students of varying skill levels, from beginner to Grade 8 School.
• Teach techniques, classical styles, and repertoire
• Provide structured lesson plans and practice assignments tailored to individual student needs.
• Prepare students for examinations and performance.
• Encourage creativity and self-expression through improvisation and contemporary playing styles.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to director, students, and parents when required.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate students' availability.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in classical piano playing with a strong understanding of modern music genres.
• Ability to teach students up to Grade 8 level.
• Friendly, patient, and encouraging personality.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young learners.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.
• Experience with preparing students for graded exams is an advantage.
• Experience working with Spectrum (eg: autism) students or a willingness to learn and adapt teaching methods for students with varying needs will be an added advantage.
