Bintara Solutions is seeking a motivated and hands-on Technical Solutions: Device Support & Maintenance Intern to join our Technical Solutions team. This internship provides valuable practical experience in device deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and end-user support within a professional technology services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Provide basic technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues involving computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Perform routine device inspections, maintenance, and health checks.
- Support software installation, updates, and system configuration activities.
- Assist in maintaining IT asset records and inventory documentation.
- Support device replacement, upgrades, and disposal processes.
- Assist in logging and updating support tickets and service requests.
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic understanding of device setup, maintenance, and technical support processes.
- Exposed to IT support tools, ticketing systems, or endpoint management tools would be an advantage.
