Job Summary

CT VET Group Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account / Admin Intern to support daily account documentation, finance records, filing, data entry, and administrative tasks.

This internship is suitable for students who want to gain practical experience in basic accounting administration, invoice and receipt checking, payment record updates, document filing, and preparation of finance documents for management and external accountant review.

The intern will assist the management team with daily account-related documentation and admin support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic account and admin documentation.
  • Key in and update invoices, receipts, payment records, expenses, and supporting documents.
  • Arrange and organize finance documents such as supplier invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, statements, and claims.
  • Check that invoices and receipts are complete before submission to management or external accountant.
  • Assist in preparing documents required by the external accountant.
  • Update payment records and tracking sheets.
  • Assist in petty cash record checking and documentation.
  • Help check bank transaction records against receipts or payment proof.
  • Follow up missing documents from branches or internal staff.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing account documents.
  • Support monthly document preparation for accounting and management review.
  • Assist with simple reports using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Perform other account, admin, or documentation tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Fresh interns are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage.
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented and careful with numbers.
  • Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Able to handle confidential documents professionally.
  • Good attitude and able to follow instructions.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting documents.
  • Comfortable with data entry and document checking.
  • Good filing and organizing skills.
  • Able to communicate politely with internal staff.
  • Able to follow up pending documents.
  • Experience using accounting software is an advantage but not required.
