Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Intern at Ormond Group, you will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, employer branding, employee engagement, onboarding, and training & development. You will work closely with the People & Culture team and support day-to-day HR operations while contributing to projects that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Employer Branding

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, social media platforms, and university partnerships.
  • Support internship and management trainee recruitment initiatives.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Assist in organizing career fairs, campus recruitment activities, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support the creation of recruitment and employer branding content for social media and other communication channels.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Assist with onboarding activities and new hire orientation sessions.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Help prepare internal communications and employee announcements.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing employee feedback and engagement survey results.
  • Support the coordination of town hall meetings and employee recognition programs.

Training & Development

  • Assist in coordinating internal and external training sessions.
  • Prepare training materials, attendance records, and evaluation reports.
  • Support learning and development initiatives and employee development programs.
  • Maintain training records and assist with HR documentation.

HR Administration

  • Assist with employee documentation and filing.
  • Support the maintenance of employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with HR-related projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the People & Culture team.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
