  • Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in livestreaming, retail sales, customer service, content creation, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with audiences.
  • Energetic, confident, and sales-oriented.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and campaign periods when required.
  • Proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. 

Responsibilities

The Live Host is responsible for representing JAM and its clients through livestream selling and content creation. The role involves hosting engaging livestream sessions, driving sales and audience interaction, creating supporting content, and continuously improving performance through product knowledge and audience insights.

The individual is expected to be energetic, professional, and commercially driven, with the ability to communicate effectively and convert viewers into customers.


Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Livestream Hosting
  • Host livestream sessions across various platforms including TikTok, Shopee, Lazada, Instagram, and other channels operated by the Company.
  • Present products and services in an engaging, informative, and persuasive manner.
  • Drive audience engagement and sales conversion during livestream sessions.
  • Respond to audience comments and questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execute livestream scripts, promotions, and campaign objectives assigned by the Company.

2. Product Knowledge & Sales Performance

  • Develop a strong understanding of products, brands, and promotional campaigns.
  • Communicate key selling points, benefits, and usage methods effectively.
  • Continuously improve hosting techniques and selling skills to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor and understand livestream performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

3. Professional Conduct & Brand Representation

  • Represent JAM and its clients professionally at all times.
  • Maintain appropriate grooming, punctuality, and presentation standards.
  • Protect confidential business information and maintain good relationships with brands, customers, and partners.
  • Comply with the Company's operational procedures and social media guidelines.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on livestream best practices, and market developments.
  • Participate in training, rehearsals, and internal development programs organized by the Company.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve livestream quality, audience engagement, and sales performance.
