Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To support the production team in daily operations, gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, and assist in improving workflow efficiency within furniture/store fixtures production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in production planning and scheduling activities.
- Support monitoring of daily production output and work progress (WIP).
- Help in preparing and updating production reports and records.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams.
- Assist in tracking materials usage and stock levels.
- Observe and learn manufacturing processes (wood, metal, assembly, finishing).
- Support in identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety requirements.
- Assist in data entry and documentation (Excel / ERP system).
Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing / Production Management
- Or related field
- Internship period: Minimum 3–6 months (last semester preferred)
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing or production processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work in a factory/production environment
Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
