Paced Learning Academy (PLA) is a Singapore-based enrichment centre specialising in Phonics for children aged 3 to 8 years old. We are expanding our Kovan centre and are looking for a Teaching Assistant who loves working with young learners and wants to grow in the early childhood and enrichment education field.

Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our Lead Teachers to support engaging, structured, and confidence-building lessons.

You will:

• Support phonics and early English lessons (online and in-person)
• Assist in classroom management and student engagement
• Prepare learning materials and lesson resources
• Help track student progress and feedback for parents
• Support assessments and trial/experience sessions
• Ensure a warm, positive, and safe learning environment for every child

Who We’re Looking For

• Enjoys working with young children and has a patient, nurturing personality
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Responsible, reliable, and proactive
• Open to learning phonics teaching methods and structured lesson delivery
• Experience in early childhood, tutoring, or enrichment centres is a bonus — but training is provided
