We are a Japanese ramen restaurant located at The Galen, Science Park, looking for reliable and hardworking part-time kitchen assistants to support our lunch service.
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 10:00am–2:00pm (approx. 3–4 hrs/shift)
Pay: S$13–S$15/hr | Est. S$39–S$45/shift
Start Date: On or around 15 June 2026
Responsibilities:
• Assist with lunch prep – condiments, toppings (spring onions, bamboo shoots, soft-boiled eggs, nori, corn, chashu, etc.)
• Portion, plate, and assist with food plating to restaurant standards
• Assist in preparing simple side dishes – gyoza, karaage chicken, mini chashu rice
• Pack takeaway/delivery orders accurately (food, utensils, sauces)
• Replenish self-service condiment station (pickled ginger, takana, sesame, pepper, shichimi, soy sauce, vinegar, chilli oil)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, pass-through counter, and workstation
• Wash small utensils, organise ingredients, restock supplies, and perform post-lunch closing duties
• Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and SOPs at all times
Requirements:
• No experience required – training provided; F&B/kitchen/ramen/fast food experience a plus
• Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate preferred; company will assist with arrangement if not yet obtained (must be completed before handling food)
• Able to follow basic instructions in English or Mandarin
• Able to handle lunch rush, quick and attentive
• Able to stand for approximately 3 hours continuously
• Good hygiene awareness; willing to follow standard procedures
• Punctual, reliable, responsible, and able to commit to regular shifts
• Must hold valid Singapore work authorisation (SC/PR – CPF contribution applicable)
