Job Description:

As an Accounting and Finance Intern at MGB Berhad, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a construction company. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will contribute to various accounting and finance tasks, providing support to the finance team and enhancing your understanding of financial operations within a corporate setting. This internship will offer valuable insights into the trust and company secretary industry and allow you to develop essential skills to kick-start your career in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Work with the finance team on financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Conduct research on financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Support audit processes and help implement audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin is extra advantage to be shortlisted.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month

• Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
