Responsibilities

- Identify and source suppliers for goods/services.
- Request and compare quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement when needed.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate vendor performance (quality, pricing, delivery timelines).
- Resolve issues with suppliers (delays, defective goods, invoicing discrepancies).
- Maintain procurement records (POs, invoices, delivery notes).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Track expenses and maintain budgets.
- Assist in asset management and inventory control.
- Generate procurement reports (spending, supplier performance).
- Communicate with internal teams regarding order status.
- Update management on procurement activities.
