Responsible for monitoring and ensuring all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) requirements at construction site are complied with according to company policy and local authority regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspection and identify unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.
• Ensure all workers wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Conduct toolbox meeting and safety briefing before work commencement.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records.
• Assist in investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Ensure machinery, equipment, and tools are safely operated.
• Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and workers regarding safety matters.
• Monitor housekeeping and site cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, CIDB regulations, and company safety policies.
• Attend safety meetings and submit safety reports to management.
• Stop any unsafe work activities that may cause danger to workers or public.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Valid Yellow Book / Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years working experience in construction industry.
• Knowledge in OSHA, FMA, and construction safety regulations.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
