We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in tax preparation, research, and compliance in a professional environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Support the tax team with filing, documentation, and record-keeping
• Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate on tax planning and strategy development
• Assist in resolving tax-related issues with the IRS and other tax authorities
• Participate in audits and help prepare necessary documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive data

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of tax laws and accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
