KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties and responsibilities of a Graphic Designer Intern:
Design & Content Creation:
- Assist in creating visual content for various platforms, such as social media graphics, website banners, blog post images, email campaigns, and presentations.
- Design and update marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, event materials, and advertisements.
- Support branding projects by helping to create or revise logos, icons, and graphic identity elements.
- Prepare and edit images (retouching, resizing, cropping) for web and print use.
Team Collaboration & Process:
- Collaborate with the design, marketing, or other internal teams to conceptualize and execute design projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new design concepts.
- Receive and interpret feedback from managers and project leads, making necessary revisions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all designs consistently adhere to the company's established brand guidelines and visual standards.
Technical & Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and organize the company's design assets, files, and templates.
- Assist with website updates that involve graphic elements, often using content management systems like WordPress.
- Prepare final files for print or digital production, ensuring correct resolution, color modes (e.g., CMYK, RGB), and file types.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the design department.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sri Hartamas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
