Job Summary:
The Game Host is responsible for creating an engaging and enjoyable gaming experience for guests by facilitating console and board game sessions. They will assist players, explain rules, provide recommendations, and maintain a fun, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement & Hosting
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Assist players in selecting suitable console games and board games based on preferences.
- Explain game rules, objectives, and mechanics clearly to both beginners and experienced players.
- Encourage social interaction and friendly competition among guests.
- Ensure players are following the rules and maintaining a positive gaming atmosphere.
Game Facilitation & Technical Support
- Set up and manage gaming stations.
- Assist players with console game settings, controllers, and troubleshooting any other related issues.
- Organize and maintain board game pieces, ensuring games are complete and in good condition.
- Monitor game sessions and provide assistance when needed.
Event & Promotion Support
- Promote membership, special promos to guests.
- Provide recommendations for new or popular games.
Venue & Equipment Maintenance
- Keep the shop & gaming areas are clean and organised.
- Ensure game consoles, controllers, and accessories are in good working condition.
- Report any damaged equipment or missing game components to management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: RM8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
