HubbedIn is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive intern to support our information security, compliance, and internal operations work.

As our platforms handle user, career, recruitment, and institutional data, we are strengthening our internal security processes, documentation, access controls, risk management, and audit readiness.

This role is suitable for someone interested in cybersecurity governance, data protection, SaaS operations, risk management, compliance, and business process improvement. You do not need to be a technical cybersecurity expert, but you should be organised, responsible, and comfortable following up with different team members to get things done.

You will help improve how we document processes, manage risks, organise security records, collect evidence, and keep internal compliance tasks on track.

Job Description

What you will be helping with

Security Documentation & Process Management

• Work with tech team, assist in preparing and maintaining internal security policies, procedures, registers, and process documents.
• Help organise key documents relating to access control, data protection, incident response, vendor management, business continuity, and system operations.
• Review existing company practices and help convert them into clear, practical documentation.
• Track gaps in current processes and follow up on required improvements.

Internal Follow-up

• Maintain trackers showing required documents, responsible owners, due dates, and completion status.
• Follow up with team members on pending items in a polite but firm manner.
• Help ensure that records are properly filed, updated, and easy to retrieve.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisation and follow-up skills.
• Good written English.
• Ability to understand and document business and technical processes.
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, Google Docs, Notion, Excel, or similar tools.
• Interest in cybersecurity, compliance, data protection, SaaS operations, or risk management.
• Ability to work independently and keep track of multiple moving items.
• Confidence to follow up with different team members politely but firmly.

Good to Have

Basic understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, or risk management.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud systems, software development, or IT operations.
• Experience with documentation, process mapping, audits, or internal operations.
• Studies in cybersecurity, information systems, business analytics, law, governance, or related fields.
