Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Finance Intern to support our Business Development team in renewable energy and power generation projects. This role provides exposure to financial analysis, project evaluation, and business development activities, particularly in solar, hydro, and gas turbine projects.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis Support

• Assist in preparing and updating basic financial models for renewable energy projects.
• Support analysis of project cash flow, revenue, and cost structures.
• Assist in calculations such as IRR, NPV, and payback period (with guidance).
• Help in compiling claims, expenditures, financial data for reports and presentations.

Business Development Support

• Assist in preparing business proposals, slides, and documentation.
• Support budgeting, claim submission and tracking of project-related expenses.
• Conduct basic research on renewable energy markets and industry trends.

Project & Technical Coordination

• Support coordination between finance and engineering teams.
• Assist in reviewing project data and preparing summary reports.

Research & Feasibility

• Assist in pre-feasibility studies and data gathering.
• Conduct benchmarking and market research (Malaysia & ASEAN).

Administrative & General Support

• Assist in preparing documentation such as claim, travel reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Support team in meetings and note-taking when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Able to commit for 6 months
• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, or business concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong willingness to learn and positive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in renewable energy and sustainability

Pay: RM700.00 - RM900.00 per month
