Marketing & Communications Intern (June–Dec 2026) — HTHT (by Friendzone)
Most people learn how to date through trial and error. We think there's a better way — and we're hiring two interns to help us build it.
About us
HTHT (Heart to Heart Talks) is a relationship learning community for working professionals in Singapore — singles and partnered alike. We run talks, IRL events, and programmes designed to help young adults build the skills to date well, partner well, and stay together well.
HTHT is built by the team behind Friendzone, Singapore's community for young adults navigating friendship, connection, and the in-between years of early adulthood. HTHT is our focused bet on the relationships side of that work, and it's where these two intern roles sit.
Relationship education is a young space in Singapore. Most people don't get taught any of this anywhere — they figure it out the hard way, often at real personal cost. We're building the community we wish had existed for us, and with several new programmes launching across the rest of 2026.
The role
As a Marketing Intern, you'll work closely with the team on the things that grow our brand awareness and make our programmes run well.
Our programmes work spans:
- Singles mixers — IRL events designed to create genuine connection between singles.
- Relationship skills talks — restarting from October, with topics ranging from communication and conflict to navigating breakups and preparing for marriage.
- A new programme launching later this year
You'll be working on:
- Content production — turning talks, events, and member stories into social content, articles, and other formats. Expect a mix of short video content creation, writing, editing, carousel-creation and turning longer material into shorter pieces.
- Social and community channels — running the day-to-day across our platforms
- Launch and campaign support — helping prepare materials for new programmes launching in the second half of the year (event promo, landing pages, email comms).
- Brand refresh support — we're refreshing how the brand looks and sounds, and you'll be involved in the rollout.
Who we're looking for
This role would suit a university student or recent graduate who is:
- Aligned with what we're building — you care about relationships as a thing worth getting good at, and you want to spend six months helping more people get better at them
- A strong writer — you can shift between casual and considered, and you have an instinct for what makes someone stop scrolling
- Tuned in to what's trending, with a view on what's right for us — you know what's resonating online right now, and you can tell the difference between a trend we should ride and one that isn't us
- Both an ideator and an executor — you can come up with the ideas and ship them, not just one or the other
- Has a reasonable visual eye — ideally Canva or Figma-comfortable, even if design isn't your core skill
- Genuinely curious about relationship skills as a space — this isn't just a content job. You'll contribute ideas on what we publish and how we show up
- Comfortable with ambiguity — we're building, which means plans change and you'll need to adapt :)
Logistics
- Singapore-based, hybrid working
- Paid internship
- June through December 2026
- Full-time preferred; part-time also welcome, we'll adjust scope to fit
We'll be interviewing on a rolling basis
