Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a HR Intern (Payroll) to assist in payroll processing, ensure timely payments and update internal payroll databases in a timely and accurate manner.

This role is responsible to assist in completing payroll processes, including calculating wages, deductions and benefits. This person will be reporting to the HR Assistant Manager and working closely with other HR personnel.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the company’s entire payroll function covering management/non-management and casual staff to ensure that salaries and other allowances are paid properly and timely and payroll accounting records are accurately maintained.
  • Assist to process payroll accurately and on time, including managing time and attendance records, deductions, benefits, leaves and other payroll-related activities.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR information, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Assist in generating and analyzing HR and payroll reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
  • Check and maintain employee master file details, bank details, tax file numbers, tax scale, deduction, and other payroll information in the payroll system.
  • Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions.
  • Check overtime claims attendance records to update on any absenteeism, unpaid leave, absconding, resignation, and new staff.

Your Ingredients

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • A team player, resourceful and detailed personality.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimum supervision, to complete assigned tasks within the time frame.
