Social Media Manager


Avyan is looking for a talented Social Media Manager to support one of our pharmaceutical clients in Singapore. This role will own the end-to-end management of key healthcare brands across Facebook and Instagram.


We are looking for a strategic and culturally aware social media professional who can build impactful social strategies, create compelling content, grow communities, and drive meaningful engagement with Singapore audiences.


The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with analytical thinking, understands platform behaviors deeply, and can operate effectively within a regulated healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop social media strategies aligned with brand objectives, campaign priorities, and audience needs
  • Build monthly content calendars and create engaging, culturally relevant content for Facebook and Instagram
  • Schedule, publish, and optimize content across platforms
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement, ensuring a consistent brand voice and timely responses
  • Monitor online conversations, sentiment, and audience behavior to identify opportunities and emerging trends
  • Identify local moments, cultural conversations, and trends relevant to Singapore audiences
  • Collaborate closely with clients, creative teams, and media teams to ensure integrated campaign execution
  • Support influencer planning and management, including campaign coordination and content amplification
  • Analyze performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations and optimizations
  • Own and monitor KPIs including engagement, reach, follower growth, sentiment, and content effectiveness
  • Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, platform policies, and healthcare/pharma requirements
  • Identify and escalate adverse events, product complaints, or sensitive community issues according to established protocols


Key Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Singapore culture, social trends, and consumer behaviors
  • Strong storytelling and content planning capabilities
  • Ability to analyze performance data and convert insights into recommendations
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of platform-native formats including Reels, Stories, short-form video, creator content, and community-first engagement tactics
  • Experience using AI and social marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, social listening, and scheduling platforms)


Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably for major brands
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or regulated industries preferred
  • Proven experience building and executing social strategies that drive measurable results
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with medical/legal/regulatory approval processes is a strong advantage
