Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Defects Management & Inspection

  • Coordinate and oversee SRTC defects rectification through onsite inspections with the LTA project team, contractors, and MSI team.

  • Track, monitor, and follow up on defect closure status to ensure timely completion. Prepare and maintain defect inspection reports and related documentation.

  • Assist Superintendent Ops & Safety on safety matters related to defect rectification works.

Operational Coordination & Compliance

  • Review facility users’ testing method statements and processes to ensure no impact on SRTC safe operations.

  • Facilitate and coordinate Test Track users’ requests for OSIT-related information and operational requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore railway safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Technical Support

  • Assist the Head of SRTC in preparing presentations and drafting tender documents.

  • Manage clients’ requests regarding plantroom/workshop equipment usage and field devices installation along the test track.

  • Support documentation control and records management.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating space allocation, office setups, and renovation projects as required.

  • Support facility-related improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Assists Admin/Facility Executive on building services maintenance.

Sustainability & Energy Management

  • Implement sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency measures while ensuring no compromise to test track users’ operations and safety standards.

Stakeholder & Event Support

  • Support the Head of SRTC in hosting visitors and coordinating events held at SRTC.

  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, contractors, regulatory authorities, and facility users to ensure smooth operations

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience in railway operations and train testing is preferred.

  • Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams is advantageous.

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of railway safety standards and emergency procedures.

  • Good documentation and reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
