LAPASAR SDN. BHD. is a Malaysian Business-to-Business (B2B) wholesale and procurement platform that focuses on FMCG distribution, corporate procurement, and supply chain solutions for SMEs and large corporations. The company was established in 2016 and is headquartered in Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor and have a branch in Johor Bahru.

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented internship students to join our Finance Operations team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to account receivable operations, daily cash handling processes, payment verification, and financial reporting within a fast-paced operational environment.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Support the Account Receivable team in daily finance operations activities.
• Assist in handling daily collections from delivery drivers.
• Manage and verify customer payments including Cash, Online Transfers, and Cheques.
• Perform daily Goods Received (GR) updates in the system based on completed deliveries.
• Assist in preparing daily finance reports for HQ submission.
• Help identify and report payment discrepancies or mismatches.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate record keeping.
• Communicate professionally with drivers and internal teams regarding payment-related matters.
• Learn to work efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Requirements

• Internship students pursuing Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Good attention to detail and basic numerical skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks accurately.
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an added advantage.

Working Arrangement

Monday – Friday: 7.30 AM – 4.30 PM
Lunch Break: Between 12.00 PM – 2.00 PM
Saturday: Alternate Saturday (subject to supervisor arrangement)
Sunday: Rest Day
