Responsibilities

Project Indigo is a stealth stage company building a new digital platform to help fitness and wellness businesses succeed with software, payments and technologies solutions. We are well-funded and backed by industry leaders. We have a unique opportunity for a full-time Product Business Analyst to get in on the ground floor and help us design and build out our suite of saas products to help shape the future of this company.


The Opportunity

The Product Business Analyst role is an inward facing role where you will be responsible for requirement analysis, that is, gathering product and technical specifications for the products being built. To do so, you will work closely with several different departments and stakeholders including the CEO, the Director of Product, the design and engineering teams. You will grow an understanding of our product, our industry and our customer needs so that you can participate in the product design and development process. This is a junior level role on our product team and you will report to the Director of Product. You will work closely with members of the product and technology teams.


The Day-to-Day

  • Deep diving into the product design alongside the product team.
  • Gathering and documenting product requirements and needs resulting from the product deep dives.
  • Managing and maintaining product documents for knowledge sharing between teams. This includes but is not limited to diagrams, charts, business requirements documents, presentations, etc.
  • Converting product specifications into JIRA tickets or high level Epics along with the product managers.
  • Assist the product team in prioritizing requirements.
  • Work with Product Management to validate requirements with users which may include working with stakeholders, conducting market research, user research and testing.
  • Attend product planning and refinement meetings as a resource to address questions and to ensure the plan meets the customer/product need.
  • Identify areas for product improvements and increased efficiency in implementation plans.


Your Qualifications

  • 2+ Years Experience in Business Analyst or related role.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent English language communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, deadline oriented environment.
  • Analytical attention to detail.
  • Experience with JIRA and other Atlassian tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in an overall team environment.
