Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources & Administration functions with particular focus on recruitment
• Responsible to drive the full recruitment process of the Northern Region
• To ensure that the monthly headcount requirements are duly met for the Northern Region
• Management of foreign workers including movement of workers, work permit renewal, welfare (an advantage but not compulsory)
• Interpreting and advising on employment legislation; develop and implement policies on a variety of workplace issues eg disciplinary procedures, absence management, working conditions and performance management
• Keeping up to date with employment/ labour law, liaise with relevant government authorities on matters pertaining to HR
• Responsible for the review, development and implementation of systems, procedures and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the HR & Administration Department and ensure compliance to Group policies and practices
• Oversee and monitor full spectrum of office administration matters
KEY SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:
• People oriented and results driven
• Possess strong interpersonal skill
• Dedicated with a high sense of integrity
• Proactive with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Candidate must possess minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Human Resource
• Preferably have at least five (5) years relevant experience in human resource functions
• In-depth knowledge of Labour Laws and industrial practices
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and database
